It is much easier to project unhealed emotional pain onto someone else than it is to feel it. Seeing life through the filter of a childhood belief in powerlessness, you can unconsciously invent defensive ways of seeing the world in order to try to feel safe, solid and sane.
A belief in powerlessness organizes itself to seek the cause of your pain in your outer life. Your disempowered thoughts about outside events will make your world appear hard and heavy. Yet, you can learn how to love all of your outer experiences because they are a part of your inner life to heal.
Since the outside world is a mirror of your inner state, you can choose to affirm the love that you see now instead of the fear you feel from an unhealed past. As you become more open, loving and clear, the world you see becomes more polished, healed and whole.
